English for academic purposes
anglo-lingua offers courses for both high-school pupils and university students.
For pupils:- preparation for Abitur and Facharbeit (extended essay)
- language training and preparation for school-and-home life abroad
- improved fluency in speaking and preparation for school tests
- fluency practice in faculty-oriented conversation
- writing skills focusing on accuracy and enhanced style
- preparation for overseas study/internship
Tuition and testing is in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference. Many universities require the TOEFL or IELTS language compentence.
The DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), on the other hand, is widely accepted by most universities and can be arranged by anglo-lingua, at relatively short notice. Jill Stephens, director of anglo-lingua, is one of the 3 official examiners in Munich for the DAAD.
